The Passion of The Christ opened in theaters February 25th (Ash Wednesday). The movie is a product of Mel Gibson's passion to tell everyone about the life of Jesus Christ but more importantly His last 12 hours of life here on earth.
This movie may be one of the greatest evangelism tools we as Christians will ever experience. Many religious leaders say it is a very real and accurate account of those last 12 hours.
On Saturday March 6th St. Matthew went to see it together.
The following morning we had "A Passion Movie Breakfast" at 9 A.M. between services. Pastor Payne lead us in a question and answer session. The reason for this Q&A session is simple: When people who are not sure about what salvation is see this movie, they may look to their Christian friends and family for answers. We want everyone to be ready to answer their questions.
This movie is a great opportunity for you to bring an unbeliever to Christ!
About 200 people attended the Passion Movie Breakfast on March 7th. The question & answer period lasted just over 1 hour as many people shared their thoughts and interpretations of various scenes from the movie.
