The duties of the Evangelism commitee are to tell the good news of Jesus Christ our Savior and to open our hearts and welcome anyone and everyone into God's house.  We reach out to all types of people especially to the needy and the helpless who are in need of God's eternal love.

We work closely with Lutheran Church Charities whose motto is "At the end of the day........ making a difference in people's lives and the kingdom of God."

We have also become somewhat of a fellowship group. It all started with the idea that we would seem more welcoming and friendly to visitors if we actually knew each other better.  We decided to have a few non-fundrising events just as "get to know you" events.  We had so much fun getting to know each other that we decided to keep it up.   We have 3 to 4 events a year.

In 2003, we had a chili cook off, built a float for the Lion's Club parade {and won a trophy!}, and initiated a welcome center at the Pig Roast in August that was very successful.

We are looking forward to another busy year and hope that you all will join us in our efforts to make God's kingdom grow!
