We have added a new Enrichment Program to our Preschool calendar. The Enrichment Program, called Kids In Discovery (KID Club), will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00-2:30pm.

This class is open to all currently enrolled three and four-year-old St. Matthew students. All new students are welcome as well. New students must be toilet trained, age three before September 1, 2007 and have medical and dental forms for the current school year.

Our KID Club is designed to enhance the current Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten classes. Students in this Program will hear stories from a wide variety of children's authors. Hands-on Science and Math experiments will complement the books in a wide variety of subject matter. Some of the subjects/activities planned are: Power of the Sun/Cooking with the Sun, Shadows/Shadow Puppet Show, Structures/Build a Tower that Can Support a Toy Car, Sound/Rubber Band Guitar and Magnets/Making a Compass.

Extended Care will be available from11:00am until class starts at noon and again from 2:30 until 6:00pm. The cost is $5.00 an hour. If your child will be attending Extended Care before KID Club please make sure to pack a lunch for them. A snack will also be served during KID Club.

Our first class will be starting January 22nd. Registration begins immediately!

The cost for our KID Club is $20 per class. Class is limited to 14 students per class. Registration will be on a first come/first serve basis. We ask that you sign up your child at least one week ahead of time so we can make sure to have enough supplies for everyone. Sign your child up for the entire month and get $2.00 off each class session or $16.00 off a month.
