Opportunities for Bible Study!

SATURDAY MEN'S BIBLE STUDY –   Luther Hall at 8:00am

The Men's Bible Study meets on Saturday mornings at 8:00 a.m. in Luther Hall.  Prayer breakfasts are held the first Saturday of the month. . . same time , same place. 

SUNDAY MORNING ADULT BIBLE STUDIES   - Krueger Hall at 9:20am.

· “Defending the Faith We ConfessWhat makes us Lutheran?  On June 25, 1530 Lutheran princes and theologians assembled to express before the Emperor, Charles V, at the city of Augsburg   Germany, the basic teachings  of Holy Scripture.  The document known as the Augsburg Confession was presented and is a correct exhibition of the   doctrine of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Please join us for this fascinating study.

· CSI: St. Matthew – Christians Seeking Instruction – this Bible study for adults will be looking at the same lesson that the Sunday School and Youth Bible study covers. An excellent opportunity for parents of Sunday School children to go over the same lesson and then take it home to discuss during the week! 

YOUTH CONFIRMATION MINISTRY 

-  is offered on Sunday evenings for ten (10) weeks in the Fall of the year (end of August to the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving) and ten (10) weeks in the Spring (January to Spring Break) for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.  Join us for Open Gym  at 6:00pm . . .class begins at 6:30pm. Preconfirmation classes for 5th grade students are held on Sunday mornings in the Library.

TUESDAY EVENING LADIES BIBLE STUDY

SADDLEBROOK BIBLE STUDY  - 

The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 10:00-11:00am at Saddlebrook Farms in Grayslake, IL.

ADULT DISCIPLESHIP CLASS 

will be offered for eight (8) weeks beginning Saturday evenings, January 7 thru February 25, from 6:45 – 8:15 p.m., in Luther Hall (the area below the Historic Chapel). This is an informational class for those desiring to study the teachings of the Lutheran Church.  The study is designed for those individuals seeking  membership in our congregation, and is also strongly encouraged as a review for all current members.
