Join us for this special event to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States.
This is a free event sponsored by the Board of Outreach and Parish Life as a community event.
Schedule of Events:
4:00pm-5:00pm - Outside Worship Service
including Color Guard and Special Music
5:00pm-8:00pm - Celebration Meal
6:00pm-8:00pm - Live Music
This event will be held outside in the East Parking Lot under the Worship Tent.
Seating will also be available on the East Side Lawn under the trees - bring your own lawn chairs!
St. Matthew will provide Hot Dogs & Trimmings including the Thode's Special Coney Sauce,
Bagged Potato Chips, Veggie Platter & Dips, Watermelon, Lemonade, Iced Tea, Water, and Dessert.
There will be an Apple Pie Baking Contest - enter your home-baked Apple Pie for a chance to win a prize and bragging rights!
Music will be provided by The Reunion Jazz Combo with a special appearance by Elvis Presley (Impersonator).
Enter raffle to win a beautiful United states 250th Anniversary Flag!
Special remembrance items will be available for sale including Shirts, Christmas Ornaments, and Coffee Mugs.
