Meals On Wheels
St. Matthew Lutheran Church and School has a "Meals On Wheels Team". Team members deliver meals to individuals and families in the community every fourth (4th) week of the month. If you would like to become a member of our "Meals On Wheels Team", please contact the church secretary.
Meals on Wheels News….
First, I would like to thank all the Meals on Wheels volunteers who give their time and talents to this community outreach program.
On behalf of Catholic Charities and the St. Matthew Meals on Wheels Team, we would like to thank Mr. Tom Haste for his dedication to this ministry over the past several years. Tom has recently decided to step down from the program. His smiling face and his eagerness to serve others will surely be missed. Thank you, Tom.
That being said, the St. Matthew Team is in need of a replacement for Tom. His replacement would deliver meals to residents in the Lake Zurich area on Mondays from approximately 11:30-12:30 one day a month. St. Matthew has participated in the Lake Zurich Meals on Wheels program for over thirty years. It is rewarding and fun. We would love to have you become part of our team.
