Come and Sing….
The Choirs of St. Matthew are looking for singers…
Practice is on Wednesday evenings at 7PM (till about 8:30) and on Sunday morning after early service (about 45 min -1 hour.)
Our numbers are dwindling. If you are interested, please come to one of our practices and see if this is something that you will like.

Vocal and instrumental music is a very special part of our worship services at St. Matthew Lutheran Church and School. Following are musical groups for you to become involved in:
Chancel Choir
Sings at services on Sundays, as well as other church holy days. Rehearses at 9:20am on Sundays between services and also on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Open to all who wish to sing traditional church music and some classical works.
Glory Singers
Sings throughout the year at various services and church holy days. Rehearses on Sunday mornings and sometimes after Chancel Choir rehearsal on Wednesdayevenings. Made up of mostly male singers who wish to sing lighter and more contemporary music.
Chamber Choir
Sings at services on Sundays, as well as other church holy days. Rehearses at 9:20am on Sundays between services and also on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Made up of male and female singers who wish to sing lighter and more contemporary music.
Bell Choir
Plays at special services during the year. No experience is necessary and the bell choir plays traditional bells and hand chimes. Rehearses Monday evenings from 7:00pm-8:30pm.
Instrumentalists
We would like to encourage anyone who plays a musical instrument to call Bob Wilson at (847) 912-4703 or e-mail at [email protected] or the church e-mail address.
"SAVED" Praise Band
Jim Kuehm is the SAVED leader and coordinator and encourages anyone who would like to participate in the praise band as an instrumentalist or vocalist to contact him at: [email protected]
